IMPORTANT: If you are joining us for the next Ancient Huna Training, please remember that Australia and New Zealand are one day later than the date in California. For example, if it is January 1 in Los Angeles, it is January 2 in Australia and New Zealand, so make sure to tell your travel agent that you want to be there for the start of the training on March 18th!

Travel Information:

You can fly into the Rotorua Airport. If you are going to do this, then fly to Auckland or Wellington, New Zealand. You can then take a short flight to Rotorua. The hotel is near the Rotorua airport. We did not choose to do fly, but it would probably be quicker. We decided to drive it and see the sights.

Driving to Rotorua: Rortorua is a nice drive from Auckland. Adriana and I drove to Rotorua in about 2-1/2 hours. If driving, you will probably want to reserve 3 hours for the drive. The roads wind leisurely, up and down, through small hills and valleys and towns, and it is quite a relaxing drive. Your rent-a-car company will have a map of the area for you. There are signs and all the roads are well marked.

From the Airport, you will take Puhinui Road toward Manukai City to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1 through Papakura, Pokena, Huntly, Hamilton, and Cambridge. Near Tirau, you will see Route 5. Take it to Rotorua.

When you get to Rotorua, take a left on Lake Road (pretty soon after you get into the City) and go to Fenton Street. Turn Right. The Rydges Hotel is on the left at 272 Fenton Street, and that is before you get to Marguerita Street.
